About the Role:

Join the Dick Cooper TV & Appliance team as a Delivery Person, where you will play a vital role in ensuring our customers receive their appliances with care and efficiency. We are looking for enthusiastic individuals who take pride in delivering exceptional service and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Safely load and unload appliances onto delivery vehicles.
Deliver appliances to customer locations in a timely manner.
Provide outstanding customer service during deliveries.
Assemble and install appliances as necessary upon delivery.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicle.
Communicate effectively with customers and team members.
Complete delivery paperwork accurately and promptly.
Adhere to all safety guidelines and traffic regulations.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Experience in delivery or customer service is a plus.
Ability to lift heavy appliances and navigate stairs.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic.

Compensation: $17.50 - $20.00 per hour

As an appliance repair technician, you’ll work with anything from dishwashers to microwaves to dryers. In other words, you’ll need to be fairly knowledgeable about large appliances, portable appliances, mechanical work, as well as electrical work.

You’ll deal with more than just appliances, though, as a repair technician, you’ll have to deal with people, too.

Appliance repair technicians must also have skills in high mechanical aptitude, have impeccable written and verbal communication skills, work adeptly with repair tools, be okay with lifting heavy machinery, and of course, be incredibly skilled in troubleshooting problems.
